    About the Position

    We are seeking a highly skilled Travel and Expense Manager with strong management, communication, data analysis, and process optimization skills. This role will oversee a team and be responsible for managing the company’s travel and expense operations. The successful candidate will assist in building and maintaining a Power BI dashboard (or similar) to provide key insights and reports for senior leadership.

    Position Details/Responsibilities

    Team Management & Employee Travel Support:

    • Lead and manage a team to meet performance goals, provide training, and ensure adherence to company policies.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on travel policies, booking procedures, reimbursement processes, and collaborate with HR to streamline onboarding related to travel.

    Travel & Expense Management, Risk Management:

    • Oversee corporate travel bookings and ensure integration and compliance with company policies and financial systems.
    • Develop and implement travel risk management strategies to ensure employee safety and collaborate with relevant departments to establish emergency response plans and communication protocols.

    Data Analytics, Reporting & Cost Savings:

    • Create and maintain a Power BI dashboard (or similar) to track and visualize travel and expense data, providing insights for senior leadership.
    • Identify trends in travel and expenses to provide actionable insights and drive cost-saving initiatives through data analysis and process optimization.

    Budget Management & Process Improvement:

    • Assist in managing travel budgets, forecast future expenses, and implement strategies to optimize travel costs without compromising service.
    • Continuously assess and improve processes, using Oracle, Workday, Concur, and Power BI to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive cost savings.

    Vendor Management:

    • Manage relationships with travel service providers (agencies, hotels, airlines, car) to negotiate favorable rates and monitor vendor performance for cost-effective solutions.
    • Ensure vendor compliance with company policies and maintain cost-effective travel services across all channels.

    Here’s What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
    • Strong negotiation skills, organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and excellent communication skills Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis capabilities.
    • Proven ability to manage and lead a team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
    • Experience in process optimization and driving cost-saving initiatives.
    • Ability to identify trends in data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
    • Experience with Oracle, Workday, and Concur is preferred but not required.
    • Experience in travel management, though not required.
