About the Position

As our Building HVAC Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the preventative maintenance, repair, and general servicing of our systems. Are you ready to join our team? Position Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain all HVAC systems for optimal performance
- Maintain building automation system to ensure that all building control systems maintain communication, including commissioning and calibration of systems on a regular basis
- Assist with the development of PM schedules and perform PM based on manufacturers standards or higher on all HVAC Systems
- Make repairs as needed and oversee larger repairs to ensure proper work is completed
- Must remain current with latest HVAC technology and safety trends
- Assist with the development of specifications and oversee maintenance/repair service contracts
- Develop and write RFP’s while maintaining budget impacts as required for HVAC and Mechanical projects
- Recommend and implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an on-going basis
- Develop comprehensive annual inspection process for HVAC systems within the campus
- Coordinate with outside contractors for equipment service and repair as needed
- Request, review, and submit work orders, bids, and proposals from vendors
- Schedule and document maintenance and repairs on building HVAC equipment (including updating equipment records).
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Strong mechanical and HVAC background and knowledge including VRF/VRV, VAV, and RTU systems; Daikin Certified preferred
- EPA Certified (Minimum of Type I and II)
- Minimum of 8-10+ years of related work experience in a commercial property setting or any similar combination of education or experience
- Proficient PC skills: familiar with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and building automation (Johnson Metasys and Tridium Jace preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability
- Vocational/technical training certificate or college degree in related field required
- Meet necessary health and physical qualifications
