Construction Inclusion Week is a chance to highlight the importance of creating a more inclusive, welcoming environment in an industry that thrives on teamwork. Whether it’s fostering diversity on job sites or making sure every voice is heard, this week is all about coming together to make construction better for everyone. It is also about how we can all shape a more inclusive workplace culture, engage with the community, and make a lasting impact that goes beyond the job site throughout the entire year.

    Commitment and Accountability

At Power Design, this vision is at the heart of our celebration of Construction Inclusion Week.     Our internal Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is a big part of this effort, working year-round to foster a culture where every team member feels embraced, heard, and able to contribute. From organizing initiatives like Black History Month and Pride Month to promoting equitable practices in hiring and development, the DEI Committee helps ensure that inclusion is at the core of everything we do.

    Supplier Diversity

    The power of supplier diversity can be seen in the depth of our partnerships and success in all our markets from coast to coast. Supplier diversity means making sure that the businesses we partner with reflect the same diversity we value in our teams. This means including companies owned by underrepresented groups, such as minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses, as well as those led by Veterans, LGBTQ+, or persons with disabilities.
