We revved up quarter one by exceeding our goals, so we knew we had to go all-out for the first giveaway of the year! Change Order Manager Joel Liz Pereira started his week off with an exciting surprise – a brand-new Honda Talon. For Joel, this was a huge testament to being part of a winning team, working toward the same goal.

We like to keep our giveaways fresh and exciting – and sometimes that means taking it back to the classics! After announcing the winners of the 2024 Tough Rougher Championship, our entire #PDIFamily got to watch a 1972 Chevy Chevelle cruise through the building and into the hands of one of our rockstar superintendents, Joaquin Trujillo from California!
Joaquin may have only been with Power Design for three years, but in that time, he’s made a massive impact on our projects in the West region. His dedication to maintaining the highest safety standards and consistently delivering outstanding results made him an easy choice for this prize of a lifetime. We couldn’t be more thrilled to see the excitement on his face when he realized he would be leaving his visit to the GRID with a sweet new ride!

While we love hitting our goals and setting new standards in the industry, our top priority at Power Design is ensuring that every team member gets home safe and sound each day. Safety is a value that starts at the top, which is why each year, we take pride in recognizing one of our field supervisors for their exceptional leadership in prioritizing safety on the job site. It’s our way of celebrating those who truly lead the charge in keeping our workplace safe for everyone.
This year, we raised the safety bar even higher by requiring our superintendents and foremen to complete First-Aid and CPR training as part of a company-wide goal to ensure our team leaders are equipped to handle emergencies on the job site.
For Fire Alarm Foreman Raul Justiz, his dedication to safety meant being surprised at his CRUSHING IT celebration for Block 55 in Miami, Florida, with a brand-new Ford F-150! But this wasn’t just about completing the required training. Raul consistently went above and beyond, enforcing safety protocols and creating a culture of vigilance on his job site.
“Safety is the most important thing we apply. It's always the first thing we think about, and it starts with complying ourselves. I feel very grateful for everything - I feel very happy with what's happening to me, and after putting in all that hard work it was worth it!” - Raul

We kept the success coming in quarter two by exceeding our company goals once again, so we knew it was time to make waves with an exciting new surprise for one of our hard-working team members!
Superintendent David White has been with Power Design for three years and is currently CRUSHING IT on the job site at 1072 West Peachtree in Atlanta, which is set to be the city’s tallest building in decades. But he never expected a reward quite like a pair of state-of-the-art Sea-Doo jet skis!
