    position details/responsibilities…

    • Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including system logs, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
    • Analyze, investigate, and respond to security incidents, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
    • Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures
    • Participate in on-call rotation, escalating problems as necessary
    • Act as the first line responder for security alerts
    • Collaborate with other IT and security teams to improve overall security posture
    • Eager to learn and grow in all things Cybersecurity

    here’s what we’re looking for…

    • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, MIS, or another related discipline; or comparable work experience and/or technical skills
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus
    • Experience in a SOC or similar security role preferred, but not required
    • A problem solver who can think analytically, strategically, and figure things out independently
    • Willingness to handle tickets that are escalated from our internal IT Support team
    • An agile team member who can work effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects with changing priorities
