position details/responsibilities…
Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including system logs, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
Analyze, investigate, and respond to security incidents, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures
Participate in on-call rotation, escalating problems as necessary
Act as the first line responder for security alerts
Collaborate with other IT and security teams to improve overall security posture
Eager to learn and grow in all things Cybersecurity

here’s what we’re looking for…
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, MIS, or another related discipline; or comparable work experience and/or technical skills
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus
Experience in a SOC or similar security role preferred, but not required
A problem solver who can think analytically, strategically, and figure things out independently
Willingness to handle tickets that are escalated from our internal IT Support team
An agile team member who can work effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects with changing priorities
