We move fast around here, so we’re in need of a Property Electrician to help keep our top tier electrical work in tip top shape. Not only will you get to maintain some of the coolest buildings in beautiful St. Pete (not to brag, but they are pretty cool), you’ll be assisting with the development and execution of building-specific maintenance and safety procedures. You’ll also assist with the operational aspects of building electrical systems, but we’ll dive into that next
position details/responsibilities…
Assist the Lead Campus Electrician with all campus electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, lighting control and back power systems
Assist with all electrical projects including permitted work and inspections
Maintain all electrical supply/material inventories for repairs and projects
Troubleshoot and repair all power interruptions, power outages, lighting issues and lighting outage of any kind
Assist with the maintenance of all lighting control systems at the input/output designated locations
Assist with the maintenance and repair of ATS and MTS equipment for back-up power
Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of all back-up generator systems
Assist with event temporary power, following manufactures specifications, set up/breakdown, layout for power equipment and monitoring temporary power equipment during all events.
Assist with preventative maintenance (PM) program and schedules. Including but not limited to, scans and inspections of all electrical systems
Assist with site visits of outside contractors for equipment service and repair
Assist with any and all Property or Facilities related work on campus, we work as one team.
here’s what we’re looking for…
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a commercial property setting or any similar combination of education or experience
Proficient PC and iPad/tablet skills; familiar with Energy Management Systems (EMS), building automation and fire alarm systems
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability
Vocational/technical training certificate or college degree in related field required
Meet necessary health and physical qualifications
