    About the Position

    We’re looking for a Mechanical Construction Estimating Manager who is passionate about effectively developing teams that deliver exceptional estimates while partnering with our Estimating, Procurement, and Operational stakeholders and securing profitable work. This role isn’t just about numbers – it’s about leading a team as we expand into new territories and shape skylines nationwide!     Position Responsibilities

    • Manage construction estimating processes and timelines to meet company objectives, both short and long-term.

    • Provide leadership, direction, and training to assigned estimating team members.

    • Analyze bid documents, align schedules, and successfully manage a team’s process.

    • Receive new project documents and evaluate contents to conceptually understand the project including type of building, systems, key scope elements, and major factors for awards

    • Source, contact, and solicit bids while distributing support documents to subcontractors and vendors

    • Estimate interim designs to track and confirm pricing

    • Perform research to produce accurate, complete, and competitive pricing

    • Communicate with internal stakeholders to define project scope, address deficiencies, and build relationships

    • Prepare and present completed estimating packages to company executives and senior management

    • Partner with our Operations Team to properly transfer awarded projects and perform buyouts when necessary

    Here’s What We’re Looking For

    • Seven or more years of relevant mechanical estimating experience with a concentration in multifamily, high-rise, and assisted-living projects

    • Experience leading and developing teams

    • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient

    • Able to provide a high level of customer service

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (AutoBid preferred
