About the Position
The community impact coordinator will contribute to the strategic goals of the Community Impact team, reporting to the Director of Community Impact. This person will assist in all administrative duties of the of the foundation and Power Design’s Philanthropy strategy.
This employee will play a key role in the support of new initiatives in all the different community pillars.
Position Details/Responsibilities
- Assist the director with administrative and personal duties while prioritizing and facilitating communication within and across departments.
- Manage and coordinate the director calendar, including travel arrangements and departmental meetings and events.
- Coordinate department volunteer days or companywide volunteer days
- Oversees employee giving charitable dashboard to ensure database integrity
- This includes: maintaining address book, events, volunteer hour tracking & portal uploads in APEX
- Oversees corporate sponsorship league request form & presents requests to Lead Community Impact Partner
- Submitting and coordinating all ad requests for foundation and company charity events
- Creating and maintaining the community calendar of events in asana
- Uploading and submitting all community moments in rave following volunteer engagements
- Works with other departments to identify volunteer opportunities in existing and new community impact work and advocates for volunteer engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provides event coordination for all events supporting the foundation, community impact team, or DEI.
- This includes: calendar invites, volunteer coordination, event set-up & strike
- Act as an ambassador of the brand throughout community support to build brand presence and trust in the foundation and supporting the mission
- For the DEI Committee:
- Track attendance, create meeting presentations, send calendar invites and assist in other committee special projects
- *Available for commitments on some weekends and evenings
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Prioritize administrative deadlines and assignments to ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks, ad requests, event related projects and other time sensitive initiatives.
- Think quickly and creatively, and react well to deadline pressure
- Provide a high level of PlusOne service internally and externally
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one (1-3) year experience in a corporate or non-profit setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
