    ABOUT THE POSITION

Are you a messaging master? We’re looking for someone who has a real way with words – a prose pro, if you will – to help us create communications content for our #PDIFamily. We’ve always got a lot of exciting updates to share with our team members, so we need someone who knows how to get the word out, while keeping it short and sweet.

The Communications Coordinator will work within the SOURCE (known as HR), reporting to the Communications Manager, to support the internal communications function as they develop important and engaging messaging for our entire company.

    POSITION DETAILS / RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Aid the Communications Team in creating content (such as articles, emails, digital signage, advertisements, videos, print collateral, invitations, and app messaging) for large-scale employee campaigns, including events, program launches, technology rollouts, and more
    • Write, edit, and design a variety of electronic and print communications to create awareness of internal company messages, as well as drive candidate and employee engagement
    • Help update and maintain various electronic communications channels, including company intranet, digital signage, and employee apps, with fresh and relevant content
    • Assist with special communications projects as needed, such as strategic workplace awards, focus groups, technology enhancements, third-party vendor coordination, and more
    • Support SOURCE-wide initiatives, including employee feedback campaigns and engagement opportunities

    HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • 1-2 years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or other related function
    • A copywriting aficionado with a passion for storytelling and building meaningful communities
    • A strong writing portfolio demonstrating experience creating high-quality communications
    • A creative visualizer with introductory knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
    • An agile team member who can work quickly, effectively, and flexibly on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or other related field required
    • Strong organization and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Experience with email marketing platforms and content management systems preferred
    • Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth
