position details/responsibilities…
- Be a front-facing ambassador of hospitality and PDI culture, greeting employees and customers, and providing excellent customer service.
- Physical security and protection of personnel and assets.
- Patrol assigned buildings and grounds to deter criminal acts and other nefarious acts.
- Monitor associate and visitor movements.
- Report safety and fire hazards observed on routine patrols and inspections.
- Manage parking areas (barricades, directing traffic, etc.), verify parking decals, and assist with parking enforcement and patrols.
- Respond and assist with security and medical situations as needed.
- Serve as a member of the fire control team and emergency evacuation team.
- Issue and assign building keys and security access cards.
- Follow established procedures in handling threats in the workplace.
- Ensure that security incidents are properly documented and reported.
here’s what we’re looking for…
- High School diploma or GED is required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must be able to obtain a Class D license.
- CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR certification.
- Basic concepts, principles, and practices of providing security in a corporate setting.
- Understanding of security threats and protocol for handling security and emergency situations.
- Recognition and detection of dangerous substances and devices.
- Experienced with crowd management and control techniques.
- Understanding of Life Safety protocols and standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects up to 50 pounds, and run on occasion.
