At this year’s American Heart Association Heart Walk, it didn’t matter why we walked. Some of us walked for family members and friends, and others walked for health or just for fun. We walked together…179 of us. Together, Power Design employees raised over $26,000 for the Tampa Bay Heart Walk and we provided an additional $15,000 in sponsorship. Our very own Dave Hughes, director of coordination, reached his donation goal of $5,000 and served on the Tampa Bay Heart Walk Board with other local leaders.
We also made a special donation of $2,500 to Hard Hats with Heart, an event where premiere construction companies join the region’s premiere corporate partners in support of the life-saving mission of the American Heart Association.
