Taking Top Workplaces to the Next Level #Top20

At Power Design our people are priority and sometimes, we take home titles to prove it. That’s right — we’re a 2023 Top USA Workplace!

We brushed shoulders with other big time organizations like Dell Technologies and Progressive Insurance in the 2,500+ category and were named a Top 20 USA Workplace (the only construction company ranked in the Top 50)! This award recognizes Power Design for an exceptional, people-centric workplace culture — specifically, for employee appreciation, innovation, leadership, purpose and values, and professional development.

Power Design is no stranger to being an award-winning organization from coast-to-coast. As a Top Workplace throughout the country, a MEP Giant award winner, and a 2022 EC&M Top 50 Electrical Contractors (just to name a few) we will continue breaking records and beating industry standards.

We put our people first and deliver a top-notch workplace experience by providing health and wellness resources and more – aiding in a healthy work-life balance for our employees. Over the last year, our employees were sent anonymous employee engagement surveys to get real time feedback of their experience working at Power Design.

Our Executive Committee is dedicated to the success and well-being of our people through mentorship and development opportunities for all employees across job sites, the LINK, and the GRID. Hear from our Chief People and Culture Officer Marlene Velez about what this award means to her.

Being recognized as one of the Top 20 Workplaces in the country is an honor, but what makes it even more special is that this award is based on our team members’ honest feedback about our culture.

    Marlene Velez |

    Chief People and Culture Officer

Marlene puts it best when it comes to what we take pride in at Power Design: our people. “We do everything in our power to give our teams the tools they need to be successful, both professionally and personally, because our people are our culture and key to our success.”

As we continue to shape skylines across the country, we will continue to value, support, and empower our employees to climb the charts and remain an award-winning organization.
