Power Design proudly sponsored the 5th Annual Athletes Awards to benefit the Special Olympics! The event, co-hosted by Emmy Award-Winning ABC News Anchor Laurie Jennings and ABC Sports Director Will Manso, featured a surprise performance by eight-time GRAMMY™ Award Winner Stephen Marley, while raising awareness and funds for the Miami-Dade county program that serves over 6,500 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The hugely successful event raised nearly $300,000, enough to ensure all 34 Miami-Dade athletes who qualified will be able to travel to Nationals in Seattle to compete! Best of luck to all Special Olympics athletes in 2018!
