Once reaching the 1,000 pledge milestone in mid-September, Power Design partnered with EndDD.org by donating $10,000 to help fund a safe driving PSA, predicted to be seen by 70,000 drivers across the country. “We recently found an exciting opportunity to spread more awareness and help our campaign live in the community.” said Power Design’s Marketing Specialist, Rachel Podos. “The upcoming St. Pete Grand Prix is a great local, family-friendly event that ties into our message about safe driving”. With the support of Spencer Pigot, a Florida native making his Verizon IndyCar Series debut at the race this weekend, Power Design will not only have the “Decide to Drive” logo displayed on his car, but will donate $50 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for each lap he completes in the main race; a potential donation of over $5,000.

“We had a great test in Sebring last week and are confident of having a strong weekend,” said Pigot. “I’m very happy to partner with Power Design and help with their fund raiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It’s a great cause and I hope we can raise as much as possible by having a good race!”
