    Monitoring COVID-19

At Power Design, our number one priority is keeping our employees, their families, and the community safe and healthy. We are continually and diligently monitoring updates on the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and following the Recommendations for Businesses from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as this pandemic evolves.

We understand COVID-19 has put a strain on everyone, and through this challenging time we expect to continue to fully support our projects and customers while doing our part to contain the spread. Following OSHA measures, as well as recommendations from the CDC, we have adapted infection control strategies to ensure business continuity, while keeping our #PDIFamily healthy.

    These strategies include:

      • Suspending non-essential business travel
      • Asking our corporate employees on the GRID to work remotely
      • Postponing all Power Design events
      • Requiring regular cleaning and disinfecting on jobsites
      • Limiting jobsite visitors to essential staff
      • Sending any of our workers with any symptoms home, and alerting the GC
      • Using technology, and our business continuity plan, to remain connected

Power Design is here to help, and is committed to doing the right thing. We are all in this together, and we all have actions we can take to help slow the spread of the disease. As a company, we will continue to monitor the situation and do everything we can to ensure the safety of our teams and business continuity. In the meantime, we encourage our trade partners to follow workplace best practices (resources listed below), and help to mitigate the risk to the trade.
