Home Away from Home: Redefining Student Spaces

In the ever-evolving world of higher education, one thing is clear: students need more than just a roof over their heads—they need spaces that inspire, connect, and support their journey to becoming our future leaders. At Power Design, we’re not just laying the foundation for student housing; we’re crafting the environments where the future takes shape.

With more than 26,530 student housing units spread across more than 42,175,000 square feet in over 15 states, we've made our mark from the green hills of Washington State to the vibrant streets of Texas, Florida, and D.C. Our reach is vast, but our focus remains sharp: to deliver top-tier housing that meets the unique needs of students from coast to coast.

And it’s not just us—student housing is booming! With college enrollments climbing and a growing understanding that quality living spaces are key to student success, the sector is set to grow by 4.3% annually through 2026. Though it’s not just about building more; it’s about building better. Today’s students demand modern amenities, sustainable designs, and spaces that foster community and collaboration.

That’s where Power Design comes in. Our approach to student housing is anything but cookie-cutter. We see each project as an opportunity to create more than just a place to crash after class. We’re talking about homes away from home—spaces where students can thrive, whether they’re hitting the books, hanging out with friends, or just taking a breather. With our cutting-edge tech, energy-efficient solutions, and eye for design, we’re building more than buildings; we’re building the future of education.

Take a look at a few student housing projects that thousands of students will be calling home in the near future!
