We spent the weekend prepping for the CenTex IEC BBQ Cook-Off and Family Fun Day at Camp Twin Lakes in Cedar Park! Grill masters, Scott (project executive) and Kelan (project manager) fired up the grills with chicken, brisket, and ribs while the rest of the team decorated the tent in a Freakshow theme. We spent the day with other industry partners and IEC members, with a friendly cook-off battle for the best in blind, dutch oven dessert, brisket, spare ribs, chicken, pinto beans, and showmanship!
The PDI team took home the trophy for Best Showmanship and placed 2nd for Brisket and 3rd for chicken!
