Careers, Accelerated: The Power Track Difference ⚡

At Power Design, we know that building the future starts with building the right people. In an industry full of moving parts and constant innovation, we wanted a smarter way to set our team up for success. Enter Power Track—a career-boosting program designed to fast-track Project Engineers (PEs) into the next generation of Power Design pros!

As someone new to the industry and balancing the demands of grad school at the same time, Power Design's support was invaluable. My mentors provided guidance, challenged my perspectives, helped me turn obstacles into opportunities and uncertainties into confidence, and empowered me to grow personally and professionally!

But we don’t stop at just preparing our team members for greatness—we celebrate it, too. When our latest group of participants completed the program, we had to go all out, Power Design style. A “draft” party brought the hype as we cheered them on while they took the next step in their careers. Check out the highlights in the video below!

What Exactly is the Power Track Program?

This immersive program offers entry-level participants a chance to explore Power Design from all angles. Starting as Project Engineers (PEs), they spend time gaining experience in several core operations departments, including:

Electrical and Mechanical Operations
Virtual Design or Engineering
Systems (including Fire Alarm, Low Voltage, and DAS)
Supply Chain Management
Estimating
The Field

By the end of the program, these future industry leaders have a well-rounded understanding of the business, an expanded skill set, and a clear sense of where their talents thrive most.
