Why yes we did! As our #PDIFamily continues to take us to new heights alongside our partners, we knew we needed more space and more team members to ultimately continue creating more success from coast to coast. That is why our prefabrication and distribution center is getting a serious upgrade!
Say hello to BASE – our latest addition that is joining our current 208,000 sq. ft. prefabrication and distribution facility in Palmetto, FL, also known as the LINK.
What exactly does this expansion mean for both our people and our partners?
It means more capacity, more prefabrication, and more deliveries. We’re expanding capacity by 40%, adding more than 100 team members to our #PDIFamily, and ensuring we’re able to provide our partners with a seamless prefabrication experience on our projects. By adding such mass square footage of new working space, we’re able to store more supplies while eliminating risk on job sites and keeping both our people and materials safe.
But this isn't the only change we've made to our LINK services recently. We took matters into our own hands when it came to on-time and accurate deliveries from the LINK. Just last year, we introduced our fleet trucks! Our very own vehicles and delivery drivers are now in constant communication with superintendents on job sites to ensure deliveries with an accuracy rate of nearly 94%.

SHOP:
The SHOP, FKA as the original LINK, will solely become our prefabrication center where we prefabricate materials for our scopes on a next-level scale. We are already producing 65,000 items a month, so just imagine what 208,000 sq. ft. solely dedicated to prefabrication will mean for our production figures; and let's not forget about our very own switchboards. The expansion means more opportunities to grow our critical power capabilities with our partners like ABB Switchboards, LS Electrics, and Square D, and be able to manufacture, assemble, and distribute materials to more projects both near and far.
BASE:
Now, let us introduce to you BASE, our soon-to-be brand new, 150,000 sq. ft. distribution and storage center. With a new storage system that includes narrower aisles, our storage capacity will increase by roughly 40% for up to a total of 20,000 additional pallets! You know what that extra capacity means right? Even more projects that we will be fully prefabricating – which in turn frees up job site storage space, allows less time spent on individually piecing units together, and provides quicker turnaround time during the trim phase to speed up project timelines.
From adding members to our #PDIFamily and entering into new scopes of work to expanding our campuses alongside our partners, we’re kicking off 2025 in a big way.
