Every year, Power Design hosts a BBQ brawl where employees on the GRID bring on the heat by going head-to-head in a competition to raise the most money for charity. This year we put a twist on our annual event, assigning everyone to a kingdom where teams battled it out in an epic quest for the crown by cooking the best meat, best side, and playing the most games.

The competitors from our Tough Rougher: Gear Edition were the judges at this year’s event, traveling from one kingdom to the next deciding on who was worthy of best meat and best side dish. Hakuna Meat-Ada (Best Meat), Meat my Dragon (Best Gamers), and Legal Knightmares (Best Side) were chosen to compete in a relay-style final challenge around the lake.

In the end, Hakuna Meat-Ada rolled their way to the top, taking home the Battle of the BBQ Crown and an additional $16,000 to their charity of choice: the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
