#WICWeek2025 is a special one for our #PDIFamily. Say hello to just a few of our Women in Construction who are making their mark on the industry. From construction estimators and finance leaders to our top-tier field talent, we’re showcasing our people and their passion for this industry. Often, the construction industry is a male-dominated world, but these leading ladies continue to showcase their capabilities and break new heights from our headquarters in St. Petersburg, job sites from coast-to-coast, and more!

The fact that women are out here breaking standards and are a force to be reckoned with is amazing. We're fearless because we know it's the foundation of our strength and growth.
Liz De Erbiti | Director of Labor Operations
- With 7 years under her belt as part of our #PDIFamily, Liz is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with our Production Partners, who help us shape our nation’s skylines. What sets Liz apart when she enters a meeting? She has a passion for fashion, which helps her feel her best!
When I think of women in construction, I think of those who are not afraid to step into a challenging role and step out of their comfort zone, especially in an industry led by males. I find that very empowering.
Yarely Kim | Systems Process Manager
- Yarely sets the bar high by setting career goals that continue to push herself to the next level. With a special shoutout to her mentors who helped her acquire new skills and leadership attributes, she’s ready to break barriers when it comes to being a Woman in Construction.

If you don't know something, ask! It's impossible to know everything all at once, and we have endless people and resources here to help guide you along the way.
Carleen York | Senior Construction Estimator
- Carleen entered the construction industry looking for a challenge. While her career began in education as a teacher, which brought its own challenges, she knew she wanted to take on more. She encourages her teammates and colleagues to never be afraid of failure because that’s how you grow and learn. As a Senior Construction Estimator, Carleen and her team craft estimates to win some of our nation’s most impressive projects.

Having diversity with women in this industry not only challenges viewpoints, but makes you better at everything you do.
Sam Brandell | Director of Concierge Services
- Spending 14 years as our Chief Operating Officer Joe Micallef’s Executive Assistant set Sam up for success as the perfect candidate for our Director of Concierge Services. From working with our VIP partners to managing personal projects for our #PDIFamily, Sam can do it all. Her favorite piece of working at Power Design? Flexibility and work-life balance. Working here while having three children makes her feel she’s the picture of “you really can have it all.”
Being a woman in construction can have its challenges. The beginning of the jobs consist of proving you have the knowledge to do the expected work required, so it’s nice to know we are appreciated.
Deborah Elton | Electrical Foreman III
- Deborah has been a member of our #PDIFamily for almost two decades and continues to show up to the job site with a can-do attitude. Based in Nashville, she has helped shape some of the most notable projects in the city. Favorite memory? Winning the 2020 Safety Truck, which is another testament to the leader and #PDIFamily member she is on and off the job site.

It is truly an honor to be selected from the incredible pool of talented women who are a part of Power Design. Having been with the company for 20 years, I've seen the talent and dedication first hand from the women in our leadership roles and what it adds to the industry.
Regina Thomas | Director of Internal Audit
- With nearly 20 years under her belt, Regina has made her mark at Power Design. From passing out paper checks at the beginning of her career to implementing new practices, Regina loves the innovative and growth mindset that Power Design embodies. In addition to her role at Power Design, she’s actively making a difference in our St. Petersburg community as part of Leadership St. Pete’s 2025 class.
Power Design is amazing at giving us support. They're always open-minded and willing to listen to what we need to get the job done. Women can be very impactful in the world of construction through many different avenues, including support on site, and I feel like what I do with logistics has a big impact on the success of a job.
Leigh Ross | Senior Logistics Specialist
- Leigh is known as Power Design’s go-to gal for all things materials and logistics. In her 10 years with Power Design, her proudest moment is the fact that she’s never lost a piece of material. Additionally, working alongside our field teams is her favorite part of her day-to-day responsibilities, ensuring she gets all materials to job sites nationwide in a timely and safe manner.
